Bovis Pharmaceuticals, LLC is a biopharmaceutical company comitted to the discovery, development and commercialization of novel small molecule medicines for the treatment of the Hepatitis C Virus (HCV), and Influenza Type A viral infections.

Our current product candidate portfolio consists of BOV-23, a nonorganic polymerised inhibitor for the treatment of chronic HCV infection, . On Nov 20, 2007, we announced that we nominated BOV-23 as a candidate for clinical development as an orally-and IV administered and direct antiviral for the treatment of chronic HCV infection. We plan to file an Investigational New Drug (IND) application for BOV-23 during the first half of 2008, and subject to Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval, initiate a Phase 1 clinical trial in mid 2008.

We plan to file an IND application for BOV-23 in the second half of 2008 and, subject to approval by the FDA, initiate a Phase 1 clinical trial later this year. On January, 2008, we and our collaborator Albion Pharmaceuticals, LLC. had decided to file for an pre IND FDA meeting for BOV-23 for the treatment of HCV infection and Avian Influenza Type A flue virus.
